Regulation and Use of Marijuana Overview

54% of Colorado’s voters supported a constitutional amendment permitting recreational marijuana use. This amendment seems focused on taxing and regulating marijuana. The amendment specifically states that employers do not have to permit the use of marijuana and also notes that the Amendment has nothing to do with the State’s Medical Marijuana law. See pages 11 and 12 of the Colorado Amendment 64 Use and Regulation of Marijuana.
